Introduction

Jeffrey PrestonJeffBezos was born in January 12, 1964. He is considered among the top 50 world leading American entrepreneurs and investors. The present growth and popularity of E-Commerce is a result of Jeffery’s role in the technology department. He is the founder and CEO of Amazon.com which is the online merchant of hundreds of products. Amazon.com is the world’s largest retailer which has made Jeffrey a billionaire. His wealth is estimated to be 59.3 billion.

Early Life And Education

Bezos was born in New Mexico and his ancestors lived in Texas. He is the largest holder of the land in Texas in 2015. His great grandfather was the director in the US Atomic Energy Commission. His mother separated from his father after one year. Jeff attended the River Oaks Elementary School in Houston.

Bezos was very keen for his scientific interests and technological displays. He did not allow his siblings into his room during the work. He received the Silver Knight Award for technology in the University of Florida in 1982. His further study was in Physics in the Prince ton University.

He found Amazon.com in 1994. He initially set-up the company in the garage. He left his job in the New York city. In August 5,2013 August 5, 2013, Bezos announced his purchase of The Washington Post for $250 million in cash. Portfolio.com described him as a happy go lucky person and a notorious micromanager.

Bezos was fascinated by space and space travels. He made a company with the name of Blue Origin in 2000.He wishes everybody to have a space travel with his technology. The company operated secretly in a few early years. He revealed in the year 2011. He also revealed his interests about building hotels on the space.

He Purchased Washington Post for the cash amount of 250 dollars. That is totally separate from the assets of Amazon.com. The profile of Bozos was posted on Washington Post in August 10,2013. The sale closed on October 2013.

Bezos Expeditions

Bezos made a company with the name of Bezos Expeditions. Bezos Expeditions was able to fund a lot of companies including Aviary, Basecamp, Blue Origin, Business Insider, Crowdrise, Domo , Doxo General Fusion, General Assembly, Kongregate, Linden Lab, Lookout,Nextdoor, MFG.com,  Powerset, Pro.com, Rescale, Skytap, Stack Exchange, TeachStreet   (search engine), Twitter, Wordday and Vessel.

Due to some internal issues of Amazon.com, it has been called stingy. Amazon.com has been found to help such a large community of the world that it is being considered as good as Microsoft in successfully helping people. Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has invested 28 billion dollars as the largest private foundation in the world. Bezos is a loyal friend of Microsoft.

Bezos invested 2.5 million with his wife to pass a same sex marriage referendum. He was the “person of the year” in the time magazine in 1999. According to Forbes, Bezos is the fourth wealthiest person alive on the planet and was ranked as the second best CEO ever.
