Lance Armstrong is an international American Cyclist who became famous winning after Tour De France tiles continuously from 1999 to 2005 and used performance enhancement drugs for competition. A part of his fame also that Lace Armstrong was also remained victim of cancer which later beat and overcome of it successfully. Now he is a professional American Cyclist of his career.

family and background:

Lance Armstrong was born on 18 September 1971 in Plano Texas. His Father Eddie Charles Gunderson was a route manager for the Dallas Morning New while his mother Linda Gayle was a secretary. His parent was divorced when he was only two year old. Lance was adopted by his stepfather Terry Keith Armstrong who whom with Linda was married after divorced. He was is the age of 16, became a professional tri-athlete. U.S Olympic Development team invited him to train as cyclist in 1989. He was gained 11th position in the world Championship Road Race; He was attained best time during the race since 1976 of any American had.

Early career and Championship

Thought out his racing career, Lance was won several championship and trophies. In 1991, He was won first of his career long race Tout DuPont consisting at nearly 1,085 miles , the distance he was cover in 11 days. This race settled his whole career, he wa appeared as promising newcomer to the world international Cycling. In 1992 he won another stage race The Settimana Bergamasca race in Italy, same year in Armstrong was favored to win another road race in Barcelona, Spain. 1993 was the strongest year of his career; Armstrong was won Triple Crown, The Thrift Drug Classic, The Kmart West Virginia Classi and the Core State Race. He was come second that year at Tour DuPont. He was covered 161 miles in a day in August 1993; Armstrong won his most important race the World Road Race Championship in Oslo, Norway. Which made him the youngest every champion and the second American ever win the contest. In 1996, Armstrong rode again for the Olympic team in Atlanta, he finished sixth in the time trials and 12th in the road race. He could not able to carry on for Tout de France earlier after that summer; He was unable to finish the race because of his bronchitis sickness.

Drugs and Denial:

For nearly a decade after 2005, Armstrong has blamed for using drugs for performance enhancement from 1999 to 2005 but he was remained denial from all of this part. But in June 2012 his USADA Accused Armstrong for using drug based on taken his blood sample. After a year denial, now he accepted and admitted the things he does during the deferent race.
