Background of Rita Leve-Montalcini
Rita Levi-Montaigne was the popular neurologist of Italy. She served his great research in the medical field and medicine with her colleague Stanley Cohen. Both Rita and Cohen received the Noble prize in 1986 for their great research in the field of Physiology /Medicine for their great discovery of nerve growth factor. Rita Levi, Served her life as a great politician in the Italy from 2001to 2012. She was the oldest Noble laureate and reached at the age of 100.
Early Life and Career
Rita Levi was born on 22th April, 1909 in Turin, Italy to a wealthy Jewish family. Her Father Adamou Levi was an Electrical Engineer and Mathematician, while her mother, Adele Montaclini was a famous painter. Her father wanted that she should be like a housewife as women. She Completed her early education from the local school and after that she joined the college in Medical Science. Later on she joined the University of Turin and completed her education with the degree of medicine and surgery in 1936. After the completion of graduation Rita Levi started her research in the University for nerve cells and discovered the techniques through which a cell can be clearly visible under a microscope.

In 1938 According to the law of Italy Jewish People could not work longer in the field of Medicine as a professional and she left the University career and joined the research with American Embryologist Viktor Hamburger and Published differ articles about the neuron cells and medicine. She worked through Silver Staining Techniques throughout The Second World War. She and her Family left home during the World War II and migrated in a refugee camp. During the War she served as a doctor in the refugee camp.

After the World War II Rita Went into the American in 1947. In American She Joined the Washington University and served as a professor. Rita Levi also started her research in the Viktor Hamburger’ lab and found the mouse tumor has spurred after growth. She started her experiment and placing the tumor that it would share in the Blood Supply of the Chicken Embryo. She started her research with the Professor Stanley Cohen in the field of Bio Chemist and isolated the factors of Nerve growth.
Death
Rita Levi Never Married and family included her Elder brother Gina and two sisters, Anna and Paola. Paola was her twin sister and she was a polar artist and she died on 2000. Rita Levi Montaclini won different awards in her life. She Died on December 30, 2012 in after passing the 103 years of her life.
