Robin Williams

Robin McLaurin Williams was born in July 21, 1951 – August 11, 2014. He was born in the United States and  started acting  as a stand-up comedian inSan Francisco and Los Angeles in the mid-1970s. he improved hi sskills and became the best movie performer in the decades of 80s and 90s. His first film debut in the musical comedyPopeye  in (1980).He did more successful movies like war comedy Good Morning, Vietnam (1987), dramas Dead Poets Society (1989). He ended his life in suicide in 2014.


Being born in Chiacgo Illinois, he was the son of laurie who was a former model in Chicago.His father was Robert Fitzgerald Williams, was a senior executive in Ford Motor Company.  Willaims was enrolled at  Williams enrolled at Claremont Men’s College in Claremont to study political science.  He attained a full scholarship to the Juilliard School in New York City. Williams used drugs and find it hard to cope with stress during his work in early days.He racall those days as hardship days.


He was inspired by the actors of old times like Jonathan Winters, Peter Sellers, Nichols and May, and Lenny Bruce. He became a TV star in early 80s and late 70s. he ate a long dose of durg in the performance during the stage. His addiction to cocain was also bad. But despite nasty habits Williams kept on performing great as a comedian. Some actors accused him of intentionally copying their jokes,  Williams appeared on the March 12, 1979, cover of Time magazine due to growing popularity in the television and movies.

His first film was the 1977 low-budget comedy Can I Do It… ‘Til I Need Glasses?.  His voice role as the Genie in Disney’s Aladdin (1992) was written specifically for Williams.he was able to copy the voices of many American actors like  Ed Sullivan, Jack Nicholson, Robert De Niro, Groucho Marx, Rodney Dangerfield, William F. Buckley, Peter Lorre, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Arsenio Hall.

FernGully: The Last Rainforest (1992), Robots (2005), Happy Feet (2006) were his success movies where he provided his voice.Even at the time of his death,  Night at the Museum: Secret of the TombA Merry Friggin’ ChristmasBoulevard and Absolutely Anything.

Personal Life

Williams married his first wife Valerie Velardi in June 1978 but that did not last much longer. He had long romantic relationships with the comedian Elayne Boosler too. Willams and Velardi divorced in 1988. On April 30, 1989, he married Marsha Garces, Zachary’s nanny, who was pregnant with his child. They had two children, Zelda Rae Williams (born 1989) and Cody Alan Williams (born 1991). The divorce was finalized in Their divorce was finalized in 2010. Williams married his third wife, graphic designer Susan Schneider, on October 22, 2011.

He was very happy to have children. Williams stated, “My children give me a great sense of wonder. Just to see them develop into these extraordinary human beings.

Other Activities

Williams was a member of the Episcopal Church. He was a Catholic but was a troubled person sometimes from the inside. He loved cycling and his kids used to support him in cycling. In 2008 he said happy birthday to the Israel in the Times Square. He had a huge collection of bicycles which he owned. That led him to become a fan of professional bicycling and he toured the racing events like Tour De France.


Williams committed suicide on August 11, 2014, at his home. On his death that Williams had been suffering from severe depression. He was  away from his wife in the other room alone. No sign of Alchohol or illegal drugs were found in his venue of death but he was increasing in Parania.
